Chelsea are however looking to increase the depth of their squad ahead of the forthcoming campaign, and a few fans expect to see a couple of wing-backs arriving at the club.

According to reports in the Daily Express, one of those players could be Danilo, with the West London outfit said to have enquired about the availability of the right-sided Real Madrid defender.

The ex-Porto defender has started just 41 of a possible 76 matches in La Liga, helping his team to keep 12 clean sheets and scoring three goals along the way.

However, despite the Daily Express reports, according to Diario AS, Juventus and Real Madrid reached an agreement over right-back Danilo and the Italian club will pay €20 million to sign the player.

No deal has been confirmed, however, Danilo is set to leave Real Madrid this summer, which is a boost for Conte.
