Former Chelsea boss Mourinho to return for Arsenal vs Chelsea in surprise role

Chelsea former Portuguese coach, Jose Mourinho who was fired as Red Devils boss last month after leading the club to their worst ever Premier League start is set to return for a surprise role as Chelsea travel to Arsenal next week

Jose Mourinho

He is to serve as a pundit for Arsenal's clash against The Blues next weekend.

It will be his first job since being sacked as Manchester United boss.
Mourinho, who led United to their worst ever start to a Premier League season was sacked following the side's 3-1 loss to Liverpool last month.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed Mourinho's successor and the Red Devils have won all five games under his watch.
The 55-year-old had been linked with the vacant Benfica job as well as a return to Real Madrid. However, Mourinho confessed he doesn't want to manage in Portugal at the moment and the recent Los Blancos talk has gone quiet.

For now, Mourinho's work will come in the form of punditry.
BeIN SPORTS revealed the former Red Devils boss will be offering his "forthright opinions" as a studio pundit on the Premier League clash between Arsenal and Chelsea on January 19.
Mourinho will also be in the punditry hot seat for the Asian Cup match between Qatar and Saudi Arabia two days earlier.
The Portuguese was a pundit for Russian state-funded television station RT at last summer's World Cup.
