Chelsea forward Gonzalo Higuain signed on loan from Juventus in January has bring-out his dreams of playing alongside former teammate and five-time Balon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

The duo spent four years together at the Bernabeu between 2009 and 2013.

During that time, they both impressed helping Los Blancos win titles such as La Liga and the Copa del Rey.

Higuain left in 2013 for Napoli, however, after Carlo Ancelotti replaced Jose Mourinho as manager.

Meanwhile, speaking back in October, Higuain admitted he felt forced out of Juventus because of Ronaldo as the Argentina international spent the first half of the season on loan at AC Milan before heading to Chelsea in January.

And Higuain said: "No, mine is a feeling of affection because they treated me very well; team-mates and supporters have given me huge affection.

"But I did not ask to leave. Basically, everyone says it, they kicked me out. At Milan I immediately had a great love and so they convinced me.

"Maybe I knew something had broken, and then they took Ronaldo. The decision to leave was not mine.

"I gave everything for Juventus, I won several titles. After Cristiano arrived, the club wanted to make a qualitative leap and they told me that I could not stay and that they were trying to find a solution. The best solution was Milan."

And Tuttosport say Higuain is dreaming of playing under the 60-year-old again in Turin.

On the other hand, Sarri recently played it coy when asked about a Chelsea transfer, saying: "I don't know about Gonzalo Higuain's future, you have to ask the club.

"If he's staying then we can do very well in the next season."

Sarri himself could leave Chelsea this summer with Juventus mulling over the Italian’s appointment.
