Chelsea will be in Europa League final action next week Wednesday evening as they face London rivals Arsenal in Baku, Azerbaijan and preparations for the showpiece occasion have already been hit with confirmation that Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been ruled out through injury.

That's a massive blow to Maurizio Sarri's midfield options for the final and he will be hopeful of having N'Golo Kante, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring problem, available for the trip.

Having finished third in the Premier League, the Blues have the comfort that they will be back in the Champions League next season.

Although the current campaign can be turned into an impressive one if they can get their hands on the Europa League trophy.

Even with FIFA's ruling in regards to a two-transfer window ban it hasn't stopped the Blues being linked with new signings as well as some potential departure.
