The 19-year-old is one of several young talents that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing as he prepares to build a fresher, more vibrant United, according to The Sun.
United are preparing themselves to launch a bid for Chelsea starlet Reece James, who has had a stellar season at Wigan this year.

James is already back with the first-team squad training and played in the Blues’ friendly against New England Revolution earlier this month.

The England Under-20 international is one of the best prospects at Chelsea and won the Young Player of the Year award last season ahead of the likes of Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi and it has been reported that he will be part of the squad next season at Stamford Bridge to act as back-up to Cesar Azpilicueta.

United are keen to strengthen their defending options as they look to move on from Ashley Young.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a target of the Red Devils but The Sun have revealed that Solskjaer is looking at a number of young, English talents.

James had a brilliant season at Wigan and was named in the Championship Team of the Year.
