Blow for Chelsea as Real Madrid sign transfer target on five-year contract

Reported Chelsea transfer target Luka Jovic has signed for Real Madrid on a five-year contract, it has been announced.

The Sun reported just four days ago that Jovic was of interest to Chelsea. Chelsea may have developed interests in him as he scored in both legs of their Europa League semi-finals.

Any player Chelsea may be interested in at this current time will just seem as a fate that will fade away soon our transfer ban puts us on the back-foot if any other keen party was to push forward with their interest.

That’s exactly what’s happened here with Eintracht Frankfurt's Jovic, as well as the incomparable pull of Real Madrid. It has today been announced that he’s signed a five-year deal with the Los Blancos.

Chelsea will now be forced to look elsewhere in search of offensive reinforcements, should our transfer ban be suspended for a season following an appeal to the CAS.

Failing that, we will have no choice but to integrate Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham into the first-team next season, which certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing.
