Chelsea ‘consider move for Red Bull chief Ralf Rangnick’

As per Daily Mail, Chelsea have added Leipzig chief Ralf Rangnick to their list of potential replacements for Maurizio Sarri this summer.

RB Leipzig's head of sports development now on Chelsea's managers' radar

Sarri agreed a deal to join Juventus after just one season with the Blues, although the Italian giants are yet to meet Chelsea's compensation demands.

Daily Mail are reporting that according to German newspaper Bild, Chelsea are on the hunt for RB Leipzig's Rangnick.

The 60-year-old, who has attracted interest from England and Everton in the past, is leaving his role as RB Leipzig's manager this summer.

Rangnick has agreed to become head of sports development for Red Bull. He is expected to work closely with Brazilian club Bragantino and New York Red Bulls.

However, he could be tempted by a move to the Premier League and is willing to consider coaching positions.

Chelsea have already held initial talks with club legend Frank Lampard over an emotional return to Stamford Bridge this summer.
