Chelsea sell promising youngster for €10 million

Torino have activated their €10 million option to buy Ola Aina from Chelsea, club president Urbano Cairo has confirmed.

Ola Aina completes permanent deal to Torino

Speaking at the Lega Serie A assembly in Milan, as reported by Football Italia, the chief of the Italian outfit revealed that a deal has been tied up for the Blues youngster.

He said:
We’ve redeemed Aina for €10m, as well as Cristian Ansaldi, and Koffi Djidji. Now Torino own all their players.
Chelsea sent Aina out on loan after handing him a new three-year contract at the club.

Aina wasn't getting assurance of first team football, which saw him move to Italy temporarily.

While in Italy, he has emerged as a pivotal player, shining on the left-hand side.

Such was his level of performances in Serie A, and the club have moved quickly to ensure that their €10 million option to buy clause was activated.
