Mason Mount recalls best memories.

Mason Mount has been recalling the highlights of his season-long loan at Derby County.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, along with his Chelsea team mate Fikayo Tomori, were part of the Derby team that took Manchester United 's scalp in the same competition last season.

Derby held United 2-2 in a third-round tie at Old Trafford before winning 8-7 on penalties. Mount took the first penalty in the shoot out - and scored.

Mount has fond memories of that win against United and of helping Derby to reach the Championship play-off final thanks to a dramatic victory over Leeds United in the second leg of the semi-final.

"That (the United game) was probably one of a couple of games, Leeds away as well, that really sticks out," Mount told the Telegraph.

"To go up there (to Old Trafford) and win - and we could have won in normal time, they equalised really late - we played so well and that’s one of my best memories of being at Derby."

Mount is set to line up for Chelsea against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup tonight.
